Care vs control in agri-food transformations

Care vs control in agri-food transformations
Anything used after modification for mass propagation must carry an inferior to the original label, as the original with the desired naturally acquired traits was the ones that they were targeting to exploit. Organic is the original, around the globe enjoyed by our grandparents and the generations before them. Chemical toxicity was introduced with a business-minded propaganda after their times, hence inferior. Anything in the food sector with an artificial insert must carry a penalty, a fee. "Inferior" (poor) areas pay greater gasoline prices, right? Yeah, bringing that logic to this topic.
CC Alarmism is fear-mongering propaganda. Michael Jacobs, why don't you debate Prof. Richard Lindzen or nobel prize winning Physicist John Clauser, on CC Alarmism?
is it possible to get this ppt??
This came in so handy! Have a presentation on Monday about livestock production in rangelands
A great reflection of how such a big level of forestation is possible with the help of indigenous farming techniques, social inclusion and self sustained economy.

this is an incredibly useful video for learning about democratic confederalism ! so many sources fail to address criticisms as well as in this video

7 mins in and I don't understand a word of what he's talking about. Subtitles aren't always accurate. Can't even understand him. He's using more analogies than explanations. Sorry, but this doesn't work for my learning style. Not wasting more of my time listening to this man yell about water politics. Professors take note.
A fantastic presentation from a conventional academic worldview. The problem I have with it is that it is not real - we have uncertainity because it is useful to empire builders who for millennia have been hooked on the prospective advantage of a free lunch. In order to get a free lunch an alliance with property owners and their interests is paramount simply because those who have the most to gain from imperial adventures also have the most to loose. Thus the conventional worldview elevates 'ideas' about gods to the status of 'beliefs' unnecessarily simply because it has sought to protect property owners who were the principal slave owners in ancient times as it does wage-slave owners in the modern era. A real social science would study sociopolitical ideas as such, not elevate them into the metaphysical world of beliefs. Jumping into the maze of uncertainty achieves two important goals of the empire builders firstly is establishes a ruse whereby 'religion' is perceived to be about an afterlife and not about its property protecting Decalogue in the here and now and secondly, it fights its battle where the power of diatribe is boosted by wealth. The real resolution of this problem isn't available within the conventional academic worldview but like all living systems it is available in an evolutionary worldview where the risk of human extinction remains a distinct possibility.
What a brilliant anthropological insights! The findings really challenge the mainstream assumption (including my previous personal viewpoint of our farming techniques in Forest-Guinea where I grew-up and participated in these activities) that blames indigenous farming practices as they are pointed at to be a danger to the environment. Thank you for highlighting the importance of our parents' knowledge and efforts to keep the landscape; this is why I love anthropology.
A "green" revolution indeed for the implementers, the tricksters, the salesmen but not so much the people and even less for Mother Earth. We will pay dearly for allowing these cons to convince us of their methods with promises of returns beyond belief and the governments who turned the blind eye and have allowed this to happen.
Ironically, if they had started producing Heat Pumps as the shop stewards suggested, Lucas would be at the forefront of the zero carbon movement and have one of the best established future-looking industries. About 190 million heat pump units were in operation in buildings worldwide in 2021 but this is anticipated to grow to 600 million units by 2030 meeting 20% of global heating needs.
nice. were can i read about this information?

Science is organize knowledge ,wisdom organize life Wisdom is supreme ,knowledge is a process of piling up facts, wisdom lies in it's simplification. The universe is billions of years in existence or maybe always, before humans, the universe existed on its own, without human knowledge or research. Changes, are no strangers to planet/E. All scientists have their own opinions ,based on their research, however they can compare. Mr M Hulme ,has wisdom and knowledge. Scientists, need to be honourable, they are the messengers to preserve ,and protect life for both humans and animals, the very reason we created with a brain to think, animals with natural strength and instinct.

I moved from Liverpool after finishing my Apprenticeship to work at Lucas Aerospace Hemel Hempstead. So sad that the factory no longer exists. There where so many talented people who worked for Lucas and came up with many great ideas. Bloody government's have a lot to answer for destroying our once Great Britain 🇬🇧. Very very sad how reverse cycle heat pumps and Hybrid cars 1st thought of by these workers are now making £Trillions for overseas foreign companies.
Great difference compared to nowadays were something as moderate as matching pay with inflation requested by the RMT gets so much hostility off of the mainstream media
Thank you for the video!!!

co-ops > unions we just need to collectively amass the capital to get these co-ops started.
you need both, there are plenty of exploitative co-ops that continue their abuse because their workers lack a union
